Kingswood Currytime was originally a lunchtime curry club of Legal & General employees working at the, then, Kingswood Head Office in Surrey.
A scoring system was developed as a bit of fun and as a way of identifying the consensus best restaurants in the area as targets for re-visits. This website shows the results of this system.
The original club's last outing was in August 2005 to Vojan in Merstham. Most of the club's original members no longer work for Legal & General and the site of the old Kingswood Head Office is planned for redevelopment into a retirement village.
Kingswood Currytime was resurrected in November 2021 by a small core group with a visit to Everest Spice in Redhill. We hope to continue the tradition with regular meet-ups and hopefully re-include many old colleagues.
